About Us

Sturgeon Lake Bible Camp has been serving youth and families Since 1964 by serving God and glorifying His name through rustic camp ministry.  We have seen many lives changed and countless kids have enjoyed a week at Bible camp. SLBC is committed to the teaching of the Bible and holds to our Statement of Faith.

What we do

Sturgeon Lake Bible Camp is a kids camp located in Northern Alberta. There is a strong focus on biblical teaching and a relationship with God. SLBC also promotes an active and rustic outdoor environment. Kids sleep in cabins and most activities are done outside. There is canoeing, kayaking, a water trampoline, a 40 ft. climbing wall, archery trails, and various sporting activities. For teen camp there is also paintball and power boating days weather permitting. Kids will be challenged to grow and improve physically, emotionally and spiritually.

What we believe

Sturgeon Lake Bible Camp is run by Christian principles outlined in our Statement of Faith. We are a non-Denominational camp that desires to remain true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe we all have a problem called sin and Jesus came to earth to live a perfect life and die on the cross as a payment for our sins. Jesus, however, did not stay dead but rose from the dead on the third day proving

He was who he said He was. If we confess our sins and believe in Jesus the Bible is clear He will give us eternal life.
